1. 学問 がくもん Study; scholarship; learning. Refers to academic study or the pursuit of knowledge.
2. 専攻 せんこう Major subject; special study; specialization. The academic field one focuses on at university.
3. 大学院 だいがくいん Graduate school. The postgraduate division of a university offering master's and doctoral programs.
4. 博士 はかせ Expert; learned person; doctor (PhD holder). Someone with extensive knowledge in a particular field.
5. 修士 しゅうし Master's degree; master's level. The postgraduate degree between bachelor's and doctoral.
6. 教授 きょうじゅ Professor. The highest regular academic rank at a university.
7. 講師 こうし Lecturer; instructor; speaker. A person who gives lectures or teaches, often at a university or seminar.

9. 学会 がっかい Academic society; academic conference; learned society. An organization or gathering of scholars in a particular field.
10. 留学 りゅうがく Studying abroad. The act of going to a foreign country for academic study.
11. 入試 にゅうし Entrance examination. A test taken to gain admission to a school, usually high school or university.
12. 採点 さいてん Marking; grading; scoring. The act of evaluating and assigning points to tests or assignments.
13. 評価 ひょうか Evaluation; assessment; appraisal. The act of judging the value, quality, or importance of something.
14. 基準 きじゅん Standard; criterion; benchmark. A reference point used for comparison or judgment.
15. 課題 かだい Assignment; task; issue; problem to address. A subject or matter requiring attention or effort.
16. 提出 ていしゅつ Submission; presentation; filing. The act of handing in or submitting documents, reports, or applications.
17. 締め切り しめきり Deadline; closing date; cut-off. The final date or time by which something must be completed.
18. 書斎 しょさい Study; den; home office. A private room in a house used for reading, writing, or intellectual work.
19. 語学 ごがく Language study; linguistics. The study of foreign languages or language as an academic discipline.
20. 学歴 がくれき Academic background; educational history. A person's record of formal education.
21. 享受 きょうじゅ Enjoyment; reception of benefits. The act of receiving and enjoying benefits, privileges, or blessings.
