華道
意味
The art of flower arrangement; ikebana. The traditional Japanese practice of arranging cut flowers, branches, and plant material according to aesthetic and philosophical principles.
One of Japan's classical arts (along with 茶道 and 書道). 華道 emphasises not just beauty but the relationship between space, line, and the natural qualities of plant material. Several schools (流派) exist with distinct philosophies, including Ikenobō (oldest), Sōgetsu, and Ōhara. The practice is considered a form of meditation and cultural refinement.
