新規
意味
A newcomer or new fan who has recently joined a fandom or community.
新規 literally means 'new' and in fan culture describes someone who has recently discovered and become interested in an anime, idol group, game, or content creator. While most communities welcome newcomers, 新規 can sometimes be used condescendingly by gatekeeping veteran fans. A welcoming attitude toward 新規 is considered a sign of a healthy fandom.
