优越
Meaning
Superior; advantageous; favourable. Describes conditions, positions, or environments that are notably better than average or than comparable alternatives.
Often used for objective conditions: 优越的地理位置 (advantageous geographical position), 优越的自然条件 (superior natural conditions), 优越感 (sense of superiority — can be pejorative). In Marxist rhetoric, 社会主义制度的优越性 (the superiority of the socialist system) is a set phrase. Carries a slightly more objective tone than 优秀 (excellent, of people).
