一言一行
Meaning
Every word and action; each and every thing one says and does. Emphasises that a person's complete behaviour — both speech and conduct — is subject to scrutiny, influence, or responsibility.
Used in contexts of moral accountability, parental example-setting, or public figure behaviour: 公众人物的一言一行 (a public figure's every word and deed), 父母的一言一行影响孩子 (parents' every word and action shape children). The phrase implies completeness — not just words, not just actions, but both together in their entirety.
