衔接
Meaning
To connect; to link up; to dovetail. Describes the smooth joining or coordination of two parts, stages, or systems so that they fit together seamlessly.
Used across many domains: the smooth transition between two sections of a speech or piece of writing (语言衔接), the handover between two shifts or departments (工作衔接), the alignment of curriculum stages in education (课程衔接), or the interface between two systems or processes (系统衔接). Implies not just connection but functional continuity — the absence of gaps or friction.
