1. 参考 cān kǎo To refer to; to consult. Used when looking at existing materials or opinions for guidance or comparison.

19. 沉默 chén mò Silent; to remain silent. The state of not speaking or making sound, often due to thought, sadness, or reluctance.
20. 沉重 chén zhòng Heavy; weighty. Describes something physically heavy or emotionally burdensome.
21. 称赞 chēng zàn To praise; to commend. Expressing approval and admiration for someone's actions, work, or character.
22. 成人 chéng rén Adult; grown-up. A person who has reached the age of maturity.
23. 诚实 chéng shí Honest; truthful. Describing a person who does not lie or deceive.
24. 诚信 chéng xìn Integrity; trustworthiness. The quality of being honest and keeping one's promises.
25. 承担 chéng dān To bear; to undertake; to shoulder. Taking on a duty, cost, risk, or responsibility.
26. 承认 chéng rèn To admit; to acknowledge; to recognise. Accepting that something is true, often something one would prefer not to accept.
27. 承受 chéng shòu To bear; to endure; to withstand. The ability to tolerate pressure, pain, or hardship.
28. 程序 chéng xù Procedure; programme; process. A set of steps followed in a particular order, or a computer program.
29. 吃惊 chī jīng To be surprised; to be shocked. A reaction to something unexpected.
30. 迟到 chí dào To be late; to arrive late. Coming after the expected or scheduled time.
31. 尺 chǐ A traditional Chinese unit of length (approximately one-third of a metre); also refers to a ruler or measuring stick.
32. 尺寸 chǐ cùn Size; dimensions; measurements. The specific measurements of something, especially clothing or objects.
33. 尺子 chǐ zi Ruler. A flat measuring tool used for drawing straight lines and measuring lengths.
