Ourselves is a reflexive pronoun used when the subject and object of a verb are the same group that includes the speaker. It is used for emphasis ('we ourselves did it') or to indicate that the action reflects back on the speakers ('we taught ourselves'). It can also be used after prepositions.

Ourselves es un pronombre reflexivo usado cuando el sujeto y el objeto de un verbo son el mismo grupo que incluye al hablante. Se usa para énfasis («nosotros mismos lo hicimos») o para indicar que la acción se refleja en los hablantes («nos enseñamos a nosotros mismos»). También puede usarse después de preposiciones.
