indigenous
含义: Originating or occurring naturally in a particular place; used especially of peoples, cultures, or species that are native to a region rather than having arrived from elsewhere.
In social and political contexts, 'indigenous' most often refers to the original inhabitants of a land prior to colonisation — Aboriginal Australians, Native Americans, Māori, and so on. The United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (2007) has given the term international legal significance. In ecology, indigenous species are those that occur naturally in a habitat. The word carries more respect and political weight than older terms like 'native' or 'aboriginal.'
