ambiguous
含义: Open to more than one interpretation; having a double meaning or being unclear in meaning.
Ambiguous describes language, situations, or signals that can reasonably be understood in more than one way. In grammar, an ambiguous sentence has two possible readings. In everyday use, it often signals a problem requiring clarification. It should not be confused with 'ambivalent' (having mixed feelings). It collocates with 'wording,' 'statement,' 'situation,' 'results,' 'signal,' and 'language.'
