future
Meaning: The time that will come after the present; what will happen later
'Future' refers to the time ahead or events that will happen. As an adjective, it describes something that will exist later ('future generations'). 'In future' (British) or 'in the future' means from now on. 'No future' means no prospect of success or continuation.
