judicious
Meaning: Having, showing, or done with good judgement or sense; wise and careful in decision-making.
Judicious emphasises wisdom and careful consideration in decision-making. It should not be confused with 'judicial' (relating to courts of law). Judicious implies that the right balance has been struck, the best course of action chosen, or resources wisely allocated. It collocates with 'use,' 'choice,' 'mix,' 'application,' 'balance,' and 'decision.'
