Bar stool
Meaning: A high seat at the bar; the position of regulars.
Bar stools are the high seats lined along the bar counter. In many pubs, certain stools are informally 'owned' by regulars who sit there every visit. Taking a regular's stool can cause friction. Bar stools represent the inner circle of pub life.
