morality
의미: The principles concerning the distinction between right and wrong or good and bad behaviour; the degree to which an action or decision conforms to accepted standards of conduct.
Morality can be personal (an individual's own sense of right and wrong), social (a community's shared norms), or philosophical (systematic theories of moral behaviour). Questions of morality are central to debates about law, politics, religion, and science. Whether morality is objective (universal truths) or subjective (culturally determined) is one of philosophy's oldest debates. 'Moral' is the adjective, 'moralise' the verb (often used pejoratively to mean preaching about right and wrong).
