chronicle
의미: A factual written account of important events in the order in which they occurred; as a verb, to record events in a systematic, detailed way.
Chronicles are among the most important primary sources for medieval and ancient history. The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle, compiled from the 9th century onwards, is one of the most significant records of early English history. Unlike histories, which interpret events, chronicles traditionally present facts in chronological order with minimal analysis. As a verb, 'chronicle' is widely used in journalism and non-fiction — 'the book chronicles the rise and fall of the empire.'
