canonical
의미: Accepted as being accurate, authoritative, and of the highest standard; conforming to an established set of principles or texts.
Canonical has several overlapping senses. In religion, it refers to texts included in the biblical canon. In literature, 'the canonical works' are those considered essential to a tradition — Shakespeare, Austen, Dickens. In computing, 'canonical form' means the standard or simplest representation. In general usage, 'canonical' implies official acceptance and authority. 'The canonical text,' 'a canonical example,' and 'canonical status' are standard collocations. The noun 'canon' (the body of accepted works) is closely related.
