Summit (verb)
의미: To reach the top of a mountain or peak.
In hiking and mountaineering culture, 'summiting' is the ultimate goal. 'We summited at noon' means you reached the peak. It has become a metaphor for achieving any difficult goal — 'I finally summited that project.' Posting a summit photo is a rite of passage in outdoor culture. Fourteeners (14,000+ foot peaks) are prized summits in Colorado.
