After-party
의미: A gathering or party that takes place after the main event or party has ended.
The after-party is where the night continues once the bar closes, the concert ends, or the main event wraps up. It's usually at someone's house or a private venue and is more intimate than the original event. After-parties are where the 'real' fun is said to happen, and being invited to one is a social mark of being in the inner circle.

기원과 역사
The concept emerged from 1970s-80s nightclub and music industry culture in New York and Los Angeles, where promoters like Steve Rubell (Studio 54) hosted exclusive gatherings after main events. The compound 'after-party' became standard in the 1990s hip-hop and rave scenes. The phrase entered mainstream usage through awards show coverage — Oscar, Grammy, and Met Gala after-parties became cultural events in their own right by the 2000s.
