solidarity
意味: Unity or agreement of feeling, action, or purpose among individuals within a group, especially in support of a shared cause or in the face of a common challenge.
Solidarity has deep roots in the labour movement and left-wing politics — 'solidarity forever' is a union anthem. The concept emphasises collective action and mutual support, particularly among workers or oppressed groups. The Polish trade union Solidarność (Solidarity) played a historic role in ending communist rule in Eastern Europe. In contemporary usage, 'showing solidarity' can mean anything from joining a protest to posting a supportive message on social media.
