framing
意味: The way in which information, a story, or an issue is presented to influence how it is perceived and interpreted by an audience.
In media studies and psychology, framing theory examines how the presentation of information shapes public understanding. The same facts can be 'framed' very differently — describing a glass as 'half full' or 'half empty' is the simplest example. News organisations frame stories through their choice of headlines, images, sources, and language. In cognitive science, framing effects demonstrate that people make different decisions depending on how options are presented.
