electrical
意味: Relating to or operated by electricity. Also used to describe the branch of engineering concerned with the design of electrical systems and equipment.
In British English, 'electrical' and 'electric' have slightly different uses: 'electric' tends to describe things that use electricity (electric car, electric guitar), whilst 'electrical' relates more broadly to the field or profession (electrical engineering, electrical fault). An 'electrical' in informal British usage can also refer to an electrical shop or an electrician. Electrical engineering encompasses power generation, distribution, motors, and control systems, distinct from electronics which deals with smaller-scale circuits.
