converge
意味: To come together from different directions towards a common point; to tend towards a shared conclusion or result.
Converge is used both literally (roads, rivers, or people converging on a point) and figuratively (ideas, trends, or technologies converging). In mathematics, a series or sequence converges when it approaches a specific value. In technology, 'convergence' describes the merging of previously separate industries or technologies. It is the opposite of 'diverge.' Common collocations include 'converge on,' 'converge towards,' and 'converge around.'
