autocratic
意味: Relating to a system of government or leadership in which one person holds absolute power, or behaving in a domineering manner that brooks no dissent.
Autocratic is used both in formal political analysis and in everyday criticism of overbearing leadership styles. In political science, it describes regimes where power is concentrated without meaningful checks or balances. In business and organisational contexts, it often characterises managers who make unilateral decisions, typically with a disapproving tone.
