はじめに

接続詞（connectors）は、文と文をつなぐ接着剤のような存在です。付け加え（and）、対比（but）、原因（because）、結果（so）——アイデア同士の関係を示してくれます。

接続詞がなければ、話は短くてぶつ切りの文の連続になってしまいます。接続詞があれば、複雑な考えも明確に、流暢に伝えられるんです。
