Causative passive and advanced passive structures
はじめに
使役受動態(「have/get something done」)は、他の人にやってもらう行動を表す構造です。サービスを受ける場面や、身に降りかかる不運な出来事を話すのに欠かせません。
「have」と「get」の使い分け、そして「手配したサービス」と「不運な出来事」という異なる意味の見分け方には、上級レベルの知識が必要です。
日本語の「〜してもらう」「〜される」に近い概念ですが、英語では「have」と「get」の選択でニュアンスが変わるのが面白いポイント。日常英語でよく使われるので、自然な発話には欠かせない構造ですよ。
