Schmooze
意味: To chat in a friendly, persuasive way; to network or make small talk with an agenda.
Schmoozing is the art of friendly, often strategic conversation. It can be genuine socializing ('we schmoozed over drinks') or more calculated networking ('he schmoozed his way into the VIP section'). A 'schmoozer' is someone skilled at charming people through conversation. Not necessarily dishonest, but implies social savvy.
