Pregame
意味: To drink alcohol before going out to a party, bar, or event.
Pregaming is the college strategy of drinking before the actual event. 'We are pregaming at my place before the party' means gathering at someone's apartment to drink cheaper alcohol before going somewhere drinks are expensive or hard to get. Pregaming is practical (saves money), social (pre-party bonding), and sometimes leads to arriving at the actual event too drunk. 'Pregame' has also extended beyond drinking to mean any pre-event preparation.
