Moonshine
意味: Illegally distilled, homemade liquor, traditionally made in rural America.
Moonshine is part of American outlaw mythology. Traditionally made in backwoods stills, often from corn mash, it got its name because it was produced at night ('by the light of the moon') to avoid detection. Today, legal 'moonshine' is sold commercially, but the word still carries connotations of rebellion, the rural South, and strong, unaged spirits.
