'It is said/believed/thought/reported that...' and 'He is said/believed to be...' are impersonal passives for reporting without naming sources. Common in academic and news writing.

'It is said/believed/thought/reported that...'（据说/据信/据认为/据报道...）和'He is said/believed to be...'（据说/据信他...）是不点名来源的非人称被动引用。在学术和新闻写作中常见。
