An incentive is a reward, motivation, or reason that encourages a particular action or behaviour. Businesses offer incentives to employees (bonuses, promotions) and customers (discounts, loyalty schemes). Governments use 'tax incentives' to encourage certain activities. The phrase 'have no incentive to' means there's no motivation to do something.
