Significado: The rules governing language structure
Grammar refers to the rules that govern how words are combined to form sentences in a language. It includes syntax (sentence structure), morphology (word forms), and other aspects of language structure. 'Grammar school' in Britain historically referred to selective secondary schools. Someone who corrects others' grammar is often called a 'grammar nazi' (informal).
