dismiss
Significado: To send someone away; to reject an idea as unworthy of consideration; or to fire someone from a job
Dismiss has several uses: to order someone to leave ('class dismissed'), to refuse to consider something seriously ('dismiss the idea'), or to remove someone from employment ('he was dismissed from his job'). In cricket, to 'dismiss' a batsman means to get them out. 'Dismissive' describes an attitude of rejecting something as unimportant.
