any
Significado: One or some, no matter which; used in questions and negatives
'Any' is used in questions ('do you have any questions?'), negatives ('I don't have any money'), and conditionals ('if you have any problems'). In positive statements, it means 'no matter which' ('any colour will do'). 'Any' forms compounds: 'anyone', 'anything', 'anywhere', 'anyway'. It can also mean 'at all' ('is that any better?').
