reinforcement
Significado: The process of encouraging or strengthening a pattern of behaviour through rewards or consequences, or additional support that strengthens something.
In psychology, reinforcement is central to operant conditioning theory. Positive reinforcement adds a reward to increase a behaviour, whilst negative reinforcement removes an unpleasant stimulus. The term is also used in military contexts (sending reinforcements) and in construction (reinforced concrete). Reinforcement learning is a key concept in artificial intelligence.
