paradigm-shift
Significado: A fundamental change in approach, underlying assumptions, or the way of thinking about something.
Paradigm shift originated in the philosophy of science, coined by Thomas Kuhn to describe revolutionary changes in scientific frameworks — such as the shift from Newtonian physics to relativity. It has since been adopted widely in business, technology, and popular discourse to describe any major change in thinking. Some commentators consider it overused in corporate jargon, where minor changes are grandly labelled paradigm shifts.
