nadir
Significado: The lowest point in the fortunes of a person or organisation.
Nadir is the direct antonym of zenith. In astronomy, it refers to the point on the celestial sphere directly below an observer, but its figurative usage — denoting the worst or most unsuccessful moment — is far more common. The word is frequently used in political, economic, and biographical contexts to describe rock-bottom moments. It commonly collocates with 'reach,' 'hit,' and 'represent,' and often appears in the phrase 'the nadir of.'
