maladroit
Significado: Clumsy, bungling, or tactless, especially in handling people or situations. The opposite of adroit.
Maladroit is used more often of social or political clumsiness than of physical awkwardness. A 'maladroit remark' is one that offends through lack of tact rather than malice. It is a favourite word of political commentators describing botched communications or diplomatic blunders. The noun form 'maladroitness' is also current but less common.
