Dyspraxia, formally known as Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), affects coordination and motor planning. It often coexists with other neurodevelopmental conditions such as dyslexia and ADHD. In adults, it may manifest as difficulty with tasks requiring fine motor control, such as handwriting or tying shoelaces. Awareness of dyspraxia has grown significantly in the UK in recent years.
