codification
Significado: The process of arranging laws, rules, or principles into a systematic written code, or the result of that process.
Codification is a central concept in jurisprudence and legislative theory, referring to the collection and organisation of scattered legal rules into a single, coherent statute or code. England and Wales have historically resisted wholesale codification in favour of common law, though certain areas — such as criminal law and sale of goods — have been partly codified. The term also extends beyond law to describe the formalisation of any body of knowledge or practice. It collocates with 'of the law,' 'process of,' and 'systematic.'
