apprehension
Significado: Anxiety or fear about a future event; also the act of arresting or detaining someone, or the ability to understand something.
Apprehension has three distinct senses in English. The most common in general usage is a feeling of anxious anticipation — a sense that something unwelcome is about to happen. In legal and policing contexts, it means the arrest or capture of a suspect. In philosophical and formal writing, it can refer to the act of understanding or grasping a concept. Context usually disambiguates, but the emotional sense dominates in journalism and everyday prose. It collocates with 'growing,' 'sense of,' 'with some,' and 'of the suspect.'
