Reporting questions and commands
Introducción
Reportar preguntas es más complicado que reportar afirmaciones porque el orden de las palabras cambia. Las preguntas directas se convierten en preguntas indirectas dentro del discurso reportado, usando el orden de una oración normal.
Aprenderás a reportar tanto preguntas de sí/no (usando if/whether) como preguntas informativas (manteniendo la palabra interrogativa pero cambiando el orden).
En español también cambiamos la estructura al pasar de "¿Dónde vives?" a "Me preguntó dónde vivía," así que la idea te resultará familiar. Esta habilidad es esencial para resumir conversaciones y transmitir lo que otros han preguntado.
