Although, despite, however for contrast
Introducción
Expresar contraste es esencial para una escritura equilibrada y sofisticada. Aprenderás la diferencia entre conjunciones subordinantes (although), preposiciones (despite) y adverbios conectores (however).
Cada tipo tiene su propia gramática: "although" necesita una cláusula completa, "despite" necesita un sustantivo o -ing, y "however" conecta oraciones separadas.
En español tenemos "aunque," "a pesar de" y "sin embargo" — que funcionan de manera muy similar. La ventaja es que la lógica es parecida; solo tienes que practicar las reglas gramaticales específicas del inglés. Estos conectores son indispensables para la escritura académica y la comunicación formal.
