Forming yes/no questions, wh-questions, and negatives

Introducción

Hacer preguntas y expresar negaciones son habilidades fundamentales en cualquier idioma. En inglés, las preguntas generalmente requieren un cambio en el orden de las palabras, y las negaciones requieren la palabra "not" en la posición correcta.

En español, a veces basta con cambiar la entonación para hacer una pregunta. En inglés, la estructura cambia: necesitas invertir el sujeto y el auxiliar ("Do you like...?", "Is she...?"). Para negar, "not" siempre va después del auxiliar.

En este capítulo aprenderás a hacer preguntas de sí/no, preguntas con partículas interrogativas (what, where, when) y a convertir cualquier afirmación en negación. Estos patrones son la base para tipos de preguntas más avanzados como las tag questions.
