Simple passive constructions
Introducción
La voz pasiva desplaza el enfoque de quién hace la acción a qué la recibe. En vez de "The chef cooked the meal" (El chef cocinó la comida), podemos decir "The meal was cooked (by the chef)" (La comida fue cocinada por el chef).
En español también usamos la voz pasiva, pero el inglés la utiliza con mucha más frecuencia, especialmente en textos formales, noticias y situaciones donde no se sabe o no importa quién realizó la acción.
A nivel básico, aprenderás la pasiva en presente y pasado simple, que son las formas pasivas más comunes en el uso cotidiano. Aunque pueda sonar formal, la pasiva aparece constantemente en conversaciones normales.
