Using a, an, the, this, that, these, those
Introducción
Los artículos y determinantes son palabras pequeñas con una importancia enorme. Se colocan antes de los sustantivos y nos dicen si estamos hablando de algo específico o general, singular o plural, cercano o lejano.
Viniendo del español, ya conoces el concepto de artículos ("el", "la", "un", "una") — pero el inglés los simplifica a solo tres: "a", "an" y "the". La parte complicada es que el inglés a veces omite el artículo donde el español lo usa, y viceversa. "I like music" (sin artículo) vs "Me gusta la música" (con artículo).
Los demostrativos (this, that, these, those) funcionan de forma similar al español. Con práctica, elegir el artículo correcto se vuelve intuitivo.
