Thru-hike
Significado: To hike an entire long-distance trail from end to end in a single continuous journey.
Thru-hiking means completing a long trail — like the Appalachian Trail (2,190 miles), Pacific Crest Trail (2,650 miles), or Continental Divide Trail (3,100 miles) — in one continuous trip, usually taking 4–6 months. It is the ultimate test of endurance, mental toughness, and love of the outdoors. 'Trail names' are adopted nicknames. The culture has its own language: 'trail angels,' 'trail magic,' 'zero days.'
