The hook
Significado: The catchy, memorable part of a song — usually the chorus — that gets stuck in your head.
In songwriting, the hook is the element that 'hooks' the listener — the part you hum, sing along to, and remember. It's usually the chorus but can be a riff, melody, or repeated phrase. A song with a great hook is commercially viable; a song without one is forgettable.
