Glassy
Significado: Smooth, windless ocean conditions where the water surface looks like glass — ideal for surfing.
Glassy conditions are a surfer's dream. When the ocean is glassy, there's no wind chop, the wave faces are clean, and you can see every ripple. It usually happens early in the morning before onshore winds pick up. Checking if the ocean is 'glassy' is the first thing California surfers do when they wake up.
