Food court
Significado: A shared dining area in a shopping mall with multiple fast-food vendors.
The food court is a classic feature of American malls — a large seating area surrounded by counters from different fast-food chains. Everyone in a group can get something different. Food courts were the social hub of American teenage life in the 1980s-90s and remain a symbol of American mall culture.
