Bouldering
Significado: Rock climbing on short, low rock formations without ropes, using crash pads for protection.
Bouldering is climbing distilled to its purest form — no ropes, no harnesses, just you and the rock. Problems (routes) are short but incredibly difficult. Crash pads and spotters provide the safety net. Indoor bouldering gyms have made it the most accessible form of climbing. 'Want to go bouldering?' can mean the gym or an outdoor bouldering area. The grading system (V-scale) goes from V0 (beginner) to V17 (superhuman).
